Our organism needs them to function properly and to regulate metabolic processes.
Trace elements are minerals, but they are called differently for a reason: Namely, they are the minerals that the body needs only in small quantities.
Trace elements include chromium, iron, iodine, copper, manganese, selenium and zinc.
